Let Me Tell You All About Us!

What a sweet blessing our homes are. It's where we welcome the Lord into our day each morning, where we re-connect with our husbands after a busy day, where we kiss our babies good morning and good night, where we welcome and minister to our friends and neighbors, where we sometimes get to sit down and breathe...where we serve the Lord.

My home, my nest, is such a picture of me. Walking through my hallways tell a small story of who I am. The old wooden cross on our mantle, the collection of old picture frames that display the sweet reflection of our beautiful children, the deer heads that are only allowed in my husband's office, the funny little collection of vintage hats collected over the years, all whisper of the things I love.

That's what Me & My House is all about, the things we love. Our retail store is in San Antonio, Texas. It's a collection of new furniture, great upholstery, fabulous fabric, custom bed linens and vintage and new accessories that turn your house into a home.

Me & My House was born 10 years ago. What's it all about? It's all about family and serving our Lord Jesus Christ. As we began the process of deciding on a name for our new venture and also a business plan, we knew that we wanted to serve and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ in the marketplace. We wanted to be like Joshua, when he was speaking to the Israelites, and told them to chose whom they would serve. "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15 Hence our name, Me & My House. If we are successful, in serving Him, we are successful.
